It handles players and draft picks across up to 8 teams, reports the trade exception a deal would create, and can use a trade exception a team already holds when we have one on file. Held exceptions are hand-curated and labeled "as of" a date, so if we're missing one we fall back to the normal matching rules rather than guess.
